Insidious: Chapter 2 movie release date

Insidious is the sleeper hit that put astral projection on the movie map. Astral projection is a spiritual device that has been practiced as far back as the Egyptian times - possible even further to the beginning of mankind. We can't pinpoint the history of astral projection, an act referred to as an out of body experience - leaving the physical via an astral body.

Leigh Whannell is penciling the sequel to his astral projection movie. James Wan is set to direct Insidious 2, the astral horror movie that turned a $1.5 million dollar production budget into nearly a $100 million worldwide hit. Insidious: Chapter 2 is on tap with a movie release date: August 30, 2012.

Insidious: Chapter 2 movie details remain top secret. As Insidious spoilers surface, we will upload them on PlotSpoiler.com and possibly here. There is a lot of excitement to see astral projection in action. Movies like Insidious are far and few. Psychic Killer, The Astral Factor, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Shocker, and time travel movies execute astral projection quite well.

Insidious 2 is slated for an August 30, 2012 movie release date. It is expected to open with record numbers for a horror movie. Rose Byrne, Patrick Wilson and Lin Shaye are set to return in this much anticipated horror sequel.

Get ready to astral project again to The Further.

New Insidious Chapter 2 release date: September 13, 2013

The Astral Factor: Astral Projection movie from the movie vault

We located The Astral Factor in the SFFWorld.com forum. The Astral Factor is an old paranormal movie with astral projection as its central theme. We also heard this movie is terrible, the worst movie ever made. Nonetheless, The Astral Factor is an astral projection movie, one of the oldest to depict astral projection on the silver screen.

The Astral Factor plot is about a man who partakes in astral projection to strangle women. This serial killer astral projects out of his jail cell to terrorize these women to seek revenge. The women unknowingly have no idea of an invisible presence stalking them. The mysteries behind The Astral Factor movie confront how to do astral projection and whether the act is a curse on metaphysics.

Psychic Killer is an astral projection movie which resembles The Astral Factor, albeit the movie about astral travel executes astral projection much better to create thrills and chills. The Astral Factor is rated a 3.7 on IMDb's movie meter out of 333 ratings. Beware of this movie, because a low rating such as 3.7 is a good indication that this movie is really bad.

If you want to watch astral projection on the silver screen, then The Astral Factor is an oldie worth test driving. With Insidious 2 in development (August 30, 2013 movie release date), astral projection will emerge as a top horror sub-genre.

The Astral Factor can be purchased below. Enjoy watching this astral projection movie, as you will likely get a kick out of the cheesy special effects.

Top 5 astral projection movies

Astral projection is under the radar. Not too many moviegoers understand what is astral projection. Insidious definitely put astral projection on the movie map. With Josh astral projecting into The Further, we finally witnessed an exciting new sub-genre emerging within a horror movie sleeper hit.

Astral projection movies are beginning to resurface again. We never focused on astral projection, even when watching the best horror movies of the 80's. Movies about astral projection are not as common as time travel movies, but there are past examples of astral travel at work.

Are you interested in watching astral projection movies? Ready to astral project to the subplanes? The top astral projection movies will make moviegoers want to learn astral projection. What are the top 5 astral projection movies?

Top 5 astral projection movies:
  1. Insidious
  2. Psychic Killer
  3. A Nightmare on Elm Street
  4. Shocker
  5. The Butterfly Effect

Insidious astral projection scene

Insidious executes astral projection extremely well. We hear Elise calming the one-time gifted astral traveler. Josh focuses on the center of his forehead, the point which the astral body leaves the physical body. The astral projection scene is cool to watch on the silver screen. It's hard to believe Insidious only cost $1.5 million to produce. Movie studios are probably fighting to get Leigh Whannel and James Wan to make a future movie.

The two friends are making noise in Hollywood. They made the Saw franchise into a torture porn show. Moviegoers watch sinful people choose to accept torture in order to survive. Insidious has an underlining meaning that people must abandon conventional thinking to adopt cognitive perception.

Astral projection is possible with a simple mind. You don't need to be a gifted astral traveler to move about the subplanes. The astral world is awaiting your astral body. Your dreams and fantasies are within your reach. Astral projection is your guide to realizing dreams and goals.

It is rather interesting to see Josh open his eyes to say that this is pointless. He turns around to find his physical body in a meditative state of being. The astral body scene is one of the best depictions of astral projection in movies. We see two worlds - the physical and the astral world.

Insidious is successful because of astral projection. Astral projection in horror movies is rarely done. The Shocker depicts astral projection through energy. Psychic Killer is a mid 70's movie about astral projection. Horror movies consolidated with sub-genres such as possession, serial killer, and spiritual premises will make noise in the box office.

I really enjoyed the astral projection discussions, especially the ending with Elise hypnotizing Josh to enter The Further, also known as the astral world or astral plane. We see unsettled spirits wondering around The Astral Hell of the subplanes. Insidious is a great astral horror movie that makes The Apparition look like a low-budget student film. Astral projection is executed perfectly on screen to increase awareness of this astral art.

Good work Leigh Whannel and James Wan for bringing astral projection back to Hollywood. The Egyptians already adopted astral projection into their culture. Old ancient paintings portray Egyptians leaving their body through the OBE. If Insidious 2 is optioned with astral projection reemerging as the premise, we can expect the horror movie to make a fortune. Thanks!

What is astral projection?

According to one Brad Melzter show, experts viewed astral projection as a science fiction phenomenon. However, astral projectors convey astral projection as real as dreams. We can astral project our astral body outside of the physical body to move about the astral planes and the subplanes.

The astral body is capable of transcending time and space. I found it interesting to hear astral projection mentioned on television, especially after the Insidious movie introduced moviegoers to the metaphysical act. What is astral projection?

Astral projection is an art of removing the astral body outside of the physical body. We supposedly have an astral body residing within our physical body. Once we engage in astral projection techniques, we can leave our physical body via the middle forehead. The astral body is connected to a silver white cord, which keeps us from losing our way back to the physical body.

Astral projection is also known as the out of body experience (OBE). If you remember watching A Nightmare on Elm Street movies, the protagonist usually enters the dream world through leaving their astral body through the OBE. The astral body moves about the dream plane to explore an alternate dimension that resembles the physical world.

A Nightmare on Elm Street's Nancy character watches her physical body sleep. In a sense, the dream movie conveys astral projection since we see the astral body wonder around the dream plane. The dream plane symbolizes the astral plane, as both dreams and astral projections show fantasy world.

In essence, astral projection is the art of leaving the physical body via an astral body. Astral projectors are attached to a silver cord. The silver cord guides their astral travels. Dream movies deal with the same premise as astral projection. A dreamer leaves the physical body to experience lucid dreaming. They know their dreams are real, so this empowers them to make real-time decisions.

Astral projection is depicted as time travel, out of body experience, and lucid dreaming induced by meditation, hypnosis, sleep paralysis, medication, and a near death experience (NDE). We can astral project to astral worlds beyond the physical world. Gifted astral travelers are capable of astral projecting to the lower subplanes. Thus astral projection is projecting the astral body outside the physical body.

Top Astral Projection Movies

Original publication date: April 2, 2011

Astral projection is becoming a hot topic in Hollywood movies. There are very few movies that actually identify astral projection as a theme. Astral projection is encoded into movies to show the out-of-body-experience in motion. The Nightmare on Elm Street movies use astral projection to travel into Freddy Krueger's world. Insidious is one of the few movies that actually addressed astral projection as an underlying theme in a movie. What are the top astral projection movies?

Astral projection is a process to which a person can leave their physical body with the astral body. There have been many books written on astral travel. In a scientific sense, astral projection is not possible. Scientists may determine astral projection as a dream response. The brain is very complex with many regions responsible for controlling human senses, movement, thought process, memories, and organ function.

Nonetheless, the brain is capable is doing much more. Humans don't fully utilize mind to explore the power of astral travel, or astral projection, which many like to associate as an out-of-body-experience. In result, a person with a strong mind is capable of leaving their physical body with a silver lining keeping the astral body attached. Insidious employs astral projection as a gifted, but evil act that exposes the physical body to unsettled spirits.

What we mean by unsettled spirits are astral begins and or entities who are stuck between the living and afterlife. Some of these spirits crave life again, have a story to tell about a certain issue, and other wants possess the human body. In Insidious, astral projection is about two gifted family members who hold the gift to astral travel. They are identified as gifted travelers. Josh and Dalton can astral project to the astral world beyond the physical world. In a metaphysical sense, astral projection explores the unexplained. How can a person leave their body to travel to another world?

I will write future articles on astral projection to detail the entire practice. Dreams and astral projection are interrelated  processes with extraordinary potential to empower the mind to do what many consider to be impossible. The top astral projection movies in Hollywood are:

  1. Insidious
  2. Sucker Punch
  3. Source Code
  4. A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise
  5. Psych Killer
  6. Time Traveler's Wife
  7. The Fly
  8. Inception
  9. The One
  10. The Butterfly Effect
  11. Shocker
  12. Avatar
  13. The Matrix

There are probably more astral projection movies out there, but the only movie that comes to mind concerning astral projection and astral travel is Insidious. You will see many more of these types of movies surfacing as high concept projects. There is human value in exploring astral projection as the sixth sense. Scientists can't explain the unexplained with scientific proof. People attempt astral travel to be reacquainted with deceased relatives, dogs, friends, and soulmates as well as searching for creation answers or to predict future events. Remote viewing is a process that Inception uses to control the dream world. Inception can also represent an astral projection movie.

Christian believers warn people to be alert in the possibility that an evil entity or demon can take over their physical body. The soul represents the motherboard of the body. Once the motherboard is temporarily removed, then the physical body is exposed to an array of evil entities. Astral projection is supposedly safe with a strong mind. Employing a strong mind suggests not allowing negative and evil to occupy the mind. Think of possession like bullies intimidating a weaker person. If you can fight offer bullies, you can learn to astral project without becoming vulnerable to evil spirits and demons.

Whenever any new astral projection themes surface in movies, I will definitely write on the subject matter. Thanks for reading.

Astral Projection in Movies

Original Publication date: April 2, 2011

Hollywood released quite a few astral projection movies in the 2011 Hollywood Box Office. Astral travel, astral projection, astral plane, and astral traveler are common terms used to describe out-of-body-experience. What movies have astral projection?

Classic Nightmare on Elm Street movies have astral projection. Have you ever noticed the characters leaving their bodies while in the astral world? Freddie resides in the astral world, where he is most powerful. Whereas Freddie can be pulled into the physical world, he has little power to attack his victims. Astral projection is essentially leaving the physical body, also known as an out-of-body-experience. Every A Night on Elm Street movie uses the astral projection theme.

The new Insidious movie has astral projection. Astral travel is a high concept that holds the movie together. This  metaphysical movie taps into the astral projection concept to show how people use their gifts to astral travel into the astral world. Astral travel was discussed in the midpoint of the movie. In reference to astral projection and astral travel, there was no allegorical elements to decode. The psychic medium identified astral projection as a dangerous process that exposes the physical body to possession. Hence, Insidious is a metaphysical movie with astral travel and astral projection theme.

Sucker Punch is another metaphysical film with astral projection. The main character relies on her astral travel to find the tools necessary to escape the mental asylum. The writer and director employed metaphysical elements such as astral travel to astral project the main character into an astral world. The technique transformed a boring asylum into an adventure to escape evil. Indeed, Sucker Punch explored astral projection in a metaphysical sense.

The Adjustment Bureau is another metaphysical movie that also uses astral projection. The agents are essentially angels from another world with the powers to change events. Matt Damon's character is able to astral project through doors and underground mazes. The astral projection theme is light in the movie. Nonetheless, the fate theme is the dominant theme. There are no out-of-body-experiences in The Adjustment Bureau.

In reality, a person can't travel through doors to descend into another location within a city. In that sense, Damon had to astral project to maneuver between the astral world and the physical world. Whereas astral projection is rather weak in the movie, The Adjustment Bureau represents a metaphysical movie dealing with the unexplained.

The Source Code is all about astral projection. This movie explores the out-of-body-experience through a person who is obviously dead. Machines are keeping Jake's Gyllenhaal's character alive. Therefore, his mind is capable of leaving his partially dead body to travel into an astral world that only exists in the mind of another dead man. The writer creates a astral world from within another world to show the metaphysical elements of the explained versus scientific breakthroughs of unexplained then become explained.

Essentially, science must prove that one person can leave their mind to travel into another world. Astral travel is partially explained in literature. But the reality of astral projection relies on real accounts. It is quite possible that in a future world, a person will be able to astral project to find information in the mind of another person who is already deceased. As confusing as it may seam, the movie never touched on how the scientists were able to gain access to the mind of the deceased man on the train. The Source Code is all about the metaphysical elements of the unexplained and astral projection.

Movies using the psychic concept are usually show a character leaving their mind to enter another deceased individual. Therefore, a psychic senses the astral world through the mind of the deceased. The unexplained power can project the dead into the real world. Ghost may latch onto the metaphysical an out-of-body-experience of astral travel to bring the dead together again with the living.

I'm sure if I investigate further, there are many other movies that use astral projection as a concept. Metaphysical movies use engaging themes to show that life in the physical world might as well be imagined. The space in the astral world shows mind power working to explore the unexplained. Nevertheless, the mind is a powerful tool with the capability to project a person further into a fantasy world.

Astral travel and dreams are interrelated phenomenons. In decoding dreams, one must rely on dream symbols. To most people, dreams are a normal process in the living world. In the unexplained world, dreams convey to people that there is another world beyond the physical world. Astral travel displaces the subconscious mind to astral project a person into the astral world without limitations. Astral projection in movies will continue to be utilized in upcoming Hollywood projects.

Astral Projection in Insidious

Astral Projection in Insidious

Insidious and astral projection compliment the possession and ghost theme. On a $1 million dollar shoestring budget, Insidious is ringing up the box office ticket sales. Why is Insidious such a popular movie? Astral travel, astral projection, astral traveler, and whatever else you want to call traveling into the astral plane captured the illusion of reality. Is astral projection real in Insidious?

Astral projection is conveyed in Insidious as an astral plane outside of the real world. A young boy, Dalton, is a gifted astral traveler who somehow gets trapped in the "Further," a dark world no astral body is supposed to enter. Insidious waits until the midpoint of the movie to reveal astral projection as the mysterious act that caused Dalton's coma. I never thought the writer would make astral projection obvious, as most movies dealing with astral travel are subtle regarding the astral plane.

Insidious is an intriguing movie that is a divided argument among moviegoers. Some praise the high concept of astral projection as well as the metaphysical elements of the unexplained, while the other half criticize the movie. The opening to Insidious is a bit jarring in terms of music choice and the collage of ghost sightings. Nonetheless, I can assure you that Insidious and astral projection struck a nerve. Many moviegoers and those who haven't watch Insidious yet, want to learn more about astral projection.

Is astral projection in Insidious real? It really depends. Do you believe in ghosts, demons and Aliens? If you do, then astral projection is as real as your mind. The astral projection concept incorporated into Insidious is more real than fake. Any one person with a strong mind can astral project. You can to learn to control the astral body as you do with your conscious mind. The astral body is capable of leaving the physical body through the center of the forehead, the same place that ancient cultures identify as the gateway separating the life force from the astral world.

During the Easter Weekend, Insidious made another $5,383,744 in box office ticket sales, bringing up its accumulated box office take to date to approximately $44,177,538. Insidious is a cult flick that is sparking plenty of discussions on astral projection, astral travel, astral movies, astral horror and an array of other terms that identify an out-of-body experience. Insidious briefly taps into astral projection, so there is confusion on how the out-of-body-experience actually works. In order to fully understand the process, check out an astral travel book, or purchase on the cheap at Barnes & Noble or Borders.

In an astral sense, classic Nightmare on Elm Street movies use astral projection to astral project characters out of their physical body. In the movie world, the astral projection concept is still in its infancy stage. Hence, astral travel will reemerge in future metaphysical movies to entertain moviegoers beyond the movie experience. It would be cool to watch an astral projection movie in 3D. Check back for astral projection articles. Want to read more about astral projection? Explanation on astral projection in Insidious movie

Insidious (2011)
Insidious released in movie theaters early last year. In the past year, the demand for astral projection movies skyrocketed. Astral projection is executed in the third act, toward the end of the Insidious movie. We hear Elise mention astral projection as a mode of traveling in "The Further" in astral form. Want to learn more about astral projection in the Insidious movie?

First and foremost, astral projection is the act of leaving a human body through an astral form. The astral form exits the physical body via the forehead. In astral form, the astral traveler can move about the astral plane, also known as the astral world. In a deeper context, the subplanes of the astral plane represent the Fourth Dimension, the seven subplanes that branch into 49 total subplanes.

The Astral Hell of the subplanes is the most undesired and evil subplanes. Evil astral beings, ghosts, and demons reside in The Astral Hell to carry out an insidious plan. Elise mentions the old woman as a parasite craving on the living, devising an insidious plan to harm Josh.

Nonetheless, the old woman accomplishes her insidious plan in the end since Josh reopened his body to possession. It seems the plan all along is to entrap Josh to astral project again. As a result, the old woman could possess Josh. The Astral Hell of the subplanes is what moviegoers see in "The Further" scene.

The spindle device that swings back and forth is mostly used to hypnotize patients under hypnosis treatment. Elise puts Josh into a trance to calmly astral project his astral form. Josh doesn't realize his astral form astral projected outside of his physical body. We see astral projection in motion on the silver screen. Did you know that Psychic Killer released in 1975 is the first astral projection movie?

Insidious increased public awareness about astral projection, an art that goes as far back as the Egyptian time. Prior to Insidious, astral projection was already a popular topic on the web. Insidious conveys astral projection as a mode of travel, even portraying Dalton's astral form on a drawing. Josh assumes that Dalton's drawing resembles a super hero, but never fully understands that his son is an advanced astral traveler. In Josh's childhood, he could astral travel to "The Further," the astral plane and or astral world.

Insidious pushed astral projection onto the movie stage in the midpoint. We finally discover the reason ghosts haunt the two homes. Dalton's physical body has gone without his astral body for several months. Ghosts and demons can smell an empty body ready to possess on command. Nonetheless, the red-faced demon is the only evil entity capable of possessing Dalton.

Elise mentioned astral projection to Josh for the first time in scene following the reveal of the red-faced demon. Josh refuses to accept science fiction claims as the sole reason his son is in a coma. Dalton's drawing of the red-faced demon convinces Josh to reconsider that his son is somehow stuck in another dimension beyond the physical realm.

The finale scene in which Josh astral projects out of his physical body and "The Further" are astral projection themes. The out of body experience is another term related to astral projection. The two astral actions are interrelated due to the astral form leaving the physical body in the sleeping and the hypnotized state of mind.

A Night on Elm Street is one of the most popular astral horror movies of all time. The out of body experience is put on display many times throughout the horror movie. We see astral projection implied in the astral horror Shocker, a Wes Craven movie released in 1989.

The Insidious movie ending deals entirely with astral projection. Josh sees the exact world that astral projectors visit while astral traveling. The Astral Hell of the subplanes is no place for an astral form to travel. The most sinful astral beings crave to occupy the living.

The insidious plan is use Dalton as bait to lure Josh. As a result, the red-faced demon possesses Dalton and the old woman can complete the possession of Josh. Insidious depicts the dangers of astral projection, a misrepresentation of astral travel.

Christianity refers to astral projection as an evil act that exposes the physical body to demonic possession. Astral projection is viewed as an act that is not supposed to be conducted, especially because humans are tapping into heavenly practices.

Astral projection in Insidious is a sub-genre of horror. What we have is a new kind of horror movie with astral projection emerging as the plot. Hence, possession is also utilized in the astral horror to heighten fear among the moviegoers.

Watch Insidious again. This time, pay special attention the techniques executed prior to the Lambert family moving. Notice the young brother mentioning he is scared of Dalton? Dalton's drawings are a dead giveaway to the art of astral projection. The hypnosis, counting backwards, an astral form, astral worlds, and The Astral Hell of the subplanes represent the foundation of astral projection.

Insidious and Psychic Killer are two good astral horror movies that depict astral projection. In Shocker (1989), the serial killer transforms into an energy form to astral project through energy currents. The astral horror is atypical of most astral projection movies because astral projection is mostly performed without revealing the astral form in the physical world.

Astral projection in the movies project the art of astral projection rather than serve as a guide on how to astral project. Interested in purchasing astral projection movies? Astral Projection movies

Astral Projection
Astral projection movies finally captured interest in astral travel. The Insidious movie created newfound attention, exploring the astral world, subplanes, astral plane, astral projection, and out of body experience sub-genres in a horror movie (i.e. astral horror). We watched past astral horror movies with astral projection concepts. Thus, astral projection movies are nothing new in the Hollywood movie world. Do you want to find good astral projection movies to watch?

Astral projection movies are mostly implied rather than stated in previous horror movies. James Wan's Insidious movie introduced moviegoers to the art of astral projection. Nonetheless, there is another past astral horror movie that is based solely on astral projection.

The Psychic Killer (1975) movie is about a man wrongfully accused and convicted of murder, who is then sent to a mental asylum. The accused man learns how to astral project from another patient. As a result, this man employs astral projection as a malevolent device to go on a revenge mission. If you haven't heard of Psychic Killer, you should definitely watch the movie to see astral projection in action. We feature the astral projection movie on this website.

A Nightmare on Elm Street is recognized as an astral projection movie. Freddy Krueger resides in the dream world to seek revenge. The dream world resembles an alternate dimension reminiscent of the physical world. Hence, the dream world is disguised as the astral plane. The main female character (Nancy) induces an out of body experience (OBE) to move about the dream world. Every A Nightmare on Elm movie somehow deals with astral projection themes such as the OBE, astral plane, and lucid dreaming.

Jet Li's The One is another astral projection movie about a cop who must fight against his doppelgangers (duplicate astral bodies of oneself) in the astral worlds to prevent evil. Li astral projects to the astral worlds to fight against his astral doubles. Whereas the astral movie makes no reference to astral projection, the plot is thus designed as an astral travel movie.

Shocker (1989) is a good movie about a serial killer traveling in the physical world as an energy form. In the astral world, an energy form is disguised as an astral form. The main character and serial killer are capable of astral projecting into the astral worlds created inside the television.

Jumper is an astral projection movie about the main character who can astral project. After an ice accident, the astral projector learns to astral travel in the physical world. He employs astral projection as a device to steal money. The astral projector can move in time continuum to travel across the world.

The Adjustment Bureau, Source Code, and Sucker Punch imply astral projection. The main characters can travel in alternate worlds beyond their own. The 2011 box office movies are good movies to watch, especially since astral projection themes are encoded in the plot. Conscious astral projection requires the astral traveler to master of meditation, the out of body experience and lucid dreaming to astral project.

Insidious is the latest astral projection movie. Besides Psychic Killer, Insidious is one of the few movies that utilizes astral projection as the central theme. In the metaphysical movie, we watch Josh astral project into "The Further" to rescue his son. The last time we remember watching an astral body wonder outside of the physical body is in the Just Like Heaven movie. Insidious does a fascinating job with portraying astral projection in the movies. We also get to see the subplanes of the astral plan, such as the alternate world referred to as "The Further".

Insidious and Shocker deal with astral projection and possession sub-genres. Astral horror is an underutilized sub-genre that is catching fire to increase popularity in astral projection movies with astral forms and astral worlds. Astral projection in the movies is a fascinating sub-genre that we believe can capture new movie fans. Horror movies with astral projection are now in high demand.

Lucid dreaming is viewed as a dream tool to induce an OBE. Inception is a perfect example of an astral form knowingly moving about the dream world in an unconscious state of mind. Hence, lucid dreaming and astral projection resemble one another. Astral projection is disguised as a sub-genre to activate senses. The moviegoing public engage in discussions on the web to find movie explanations and meanings.

Ready to watch good astral projection movies? Have an interest in astral travel? Want to visit past family members in the astral plane? Think that your pet astral projects? Check out the astral projection movies below to see astral projection in the movies. We also recommend Silent Hill as an astral projection movie about the astral plane, subplanes, and the afterlife. Enjoy watching astral projection movies in motion. Good luck!
